I've been pricing nicotine and have found a lot of price variances. I've always used XtremeVaping and never priced other sources because I was always very pleased with his quality and customer service. Money is a bit tighter now so I thought I would check out some other sources (sorry Levy) and was surprised to see the different price ranges.

XtremeVaping: 500ml 50mg $79.95, 500ml 100mg $166.95, 1000ml 50mg $158.95, 1000ml 100mg $329.95 (comes in thick plastic jugs)

WizardLabs: 500ml 60mg $39.29, 500ml 100mg $56.99, 1000ml 60mg $78.58, 1000ml 100mg $113.98

RTS: 500ml 60mg $48.65, 500ml 100mg $83.28, 1000ml 60mg $83.28, 1000ml 100mg $146.95

MyFreedomSmoke: 500ml 60mg $47.95, 500ml 100mg $79.95, 1000ml 60mg $81.95, 1000ml 100mg $139.95 (already comes in glass bottles)

That's quite a big price difference so I wanted to get some feedback here. I don't know what type of containers the RTS or Wizard Labs are sent in, but that's something to consider in the price. I would probably only store long term in glass bottles.

Any feedback?

I was using Xtreme vaping when I first started. I moved to RTS because of the price difference and their nicotine is produced in the USA from tobacco grown in North Carolina. I like RTS just as much as I like Extreme Vaping but the price difference is substantial.

I am very pleased with RTS. They have a great product, good service and fast shipping.

Good luck!

Thanks guys. If MFS has another sale soon I think I'll buy from them because of the glass bottles. From their website it appears they come in glass bottles even in the 500mls and 1 liter sizes. I prefer storing in the original containers to reduce the risks of contamination or spillage. Although I doubt many bugs could live in frozen nicotine. LOL I'm open to changing my mind though. ;)

Ooops, I forgot that AzPlumber said the 1liter from MFS is a plastic bottle not glass so their website must be incorrect.

I'd email them and ask. I've purchased from mfs before (1 liter) and it came in plastic...same with rts. If glass is important to you, the only way to be sure is to ask ;)

I dont find MFS was all that cheap . On there last sale i was gonna get some but found the place i get from now was cheaper that their sale price . MFA does have nice blue bottles though from what i seen .Not sure if only a specific size comes in the glass bottles or not

I use HighDesetecigs . I havent found anyone with quality nic cheaper . Highdesert is selling RTS nic too but its even cheaper then rts sells it for . It was actually cheaper still when then when RTS was having the 30% off sale . RTS is GREAT nic too . Xtremevaping is pretty expensive but it is the best nic you can get . For some reason all my fav juice vendors are using xtremevaping nic coincidentally .

Does wizardlabs make their own nic ? How is it ?

I chose RTS when I began DIY because of their competitive pricing. After receiving my first bottle, with all things considered i.e. packaging, prompt shipping, very professionally bottled, excellent quality liquid and made in the good ole USA, I plan on continuing to buy from them. It confuses me when I see such a variance in pricing and I wonder what could make a nicquid any better than what I have. It's crystal clear, virtually odorless. I mixed some at 18 mg and vaped it unflavored and it's very smooth with no bad taste at all. Can someone chime in who has used nic from a more expensive company and describe the difference that makes them stick with a certain brand and pay a much higher price? I'm really curious. I have nothing to compare my RTS with at this point.

I've been very pleased with RTS quality, and that it comes in a plastic bottle is no problem. I transfer the 100 ml./mg. nicquid into sterilized 60 ml. blue Boston bottles for long-term storage in the freezer. All but one of those bottles repose at the bottom of my top-load freezer, where I keep the temperature between zero and minus ten Fahrenheit (about zero to minus five Celsius). There is NO problem with cracked glass bottles, since neither PG nor VG expands like water does.

The top loading freezer is critical for long-term storage, in my opinion: cold air stays pooled in the bottom of the freezer instead of, in effect, pouring out into the room, which is what happens with a side-door freezer. So the temperature within the freezer consistently remains arctic, instead of periodically getting raised to something close to room temperature.

The one bottle I keep at cool room temperature is my working bottle of nicquid. Sixty mls. of 100 mg./ml. nicquid gets diluted about 1:5 with VG/PG/flavorings and will last me about three months. If I used bigger bottles, then the headroom in the opened bottle might result in nicotine oxidation problems over a longer period of time. The e-liquid I vape is 18-20 mg./ml., depending on how much flavoring I add. I'll mix up 20-30 mls. of diluted e-liquid and keep it in plastic bottles at room temperature for convenience. The contents of those plastic bottles will be vaped within weeks to a couple of months of their blending.

I don't think it's sensible to store concentrated nicquid in plastic bottles for any period of time or at much below room temperature:
  1. The plastic can get brittle at freezer temperatures. I'd hate to discover a cracked plastic bottle with the nicquid all leaked out! Not only would I bawl like a baby about losing all that precious nicquid, but I'd then have to toss much of the contents of the freezer (lots of frozen foods are in there, keeping company cheek-by-jowl with what amounts to poison) and have to deal with a hazmat cleanup in the freezer.
  2. Plastic is quite porous, and nicquid and/or solvent (PG/VG) can slowly diffuse through the plastic and into the surroundings. You can prove this easily: put a pungently flavored e-liquid in a plastic bottle into a sealed plastic freezer bag for a couple of weeks, then open the bag and take a sniff. I figure that, if I can smell the flavor, some of the nicotine has migrated through the plastic as well.
Just my opinions. YMMV of course . . .

Rts is one of the best quality nics . I have seen some nowhere near as great like GP though . As for xtremevaping i think theirs is slightly more pure and gives a cleaner TH . I was talking to one vendor and they said that xtremevaping nic does make a big difference in their juices in all aspects . Not sure how big but they made it seem like a night and day difference between others .

Another big MFS fan here. Admittedly,I don't have much basis of comparison for flavor, but I do vape his unflavored on occasion, and most of the rest of the time very lightly flavored, and it tastes fine. Very fast delivery and response to questions too. His unflavored sale deals are pretty frequent and so tempting that when I get one of those emails I almot hope I'm running low on nicotine, just for the excuse to stock up.
