Has anyone compared how long an e-liquid tank lasts compared to a pack of 20 cigs.
Obviously it depends on tank size so lets assume you have 5mls in your Nautilius or similar and you used to consume 20 smokes per day, so you're probably a moderate vapor.

I see quite a few sigs within the forum stating that they gave up smoking X# months ago and therefore assume they have saved £X's; but have they !?
If we assume the average price of your favourite e-juice is £4:00 and it only lasts one day or less, that certainly makes a difference in the cost factor.

I used to be a 20 smokes per day guy that hasn't touched a killer ciggie since February and love the benefits of vaping and at the moment a full tank(5mls) of e-juice will last 2 days.

So, if you were smoking the killer ciggies and smoking 20 per day, have you found you are now vaping and spending the same or more than you were when you were smoking ciggies ?

I never had a "banner/signature" on here or AAEC.

I smoked roll-ups and knew even on cheap-ish kit the savings would take a long time to come.

5ml lasts me 2 days. If I use a standard single coil (Kanger-type) I can get by on 1.5ml a day. My suspicion is that the 40-a-day smokers (proper ready-made fags) who get through far more juice are actually the ones saving the most.

In the last two years that I smoked, I was getting through 36 per day.
Seeing I have different tanks that work/use liquid in varying amounts, and are also different capacities, I'd find it hard to judge how much I use in a day.

I began with 2.4mg and now a lot of what I'm using is 0.3mg and 0.6mg ...aiming to get lower, but just follow my instinct with that. It's possible that some days I use more than others as I reduce strength.
I'd been used to nicotine for a lot of years!

Depends also how much is spent on equipment, replacements/consumables etc.

Now I'm more settled with what works best for me and what brand liquid I like most, I'm certainly not spending around £350 on it each month as I did with cigarettes. .

I stopped for the health benefits and had been stopped for over a year before I started vaping, my body works better with the nicotine, less grumpy . Started on 24 and went down to 18 after a few months, have just ordered a load of 12 so we'll see how that goes.
Even on roll-ups I've saved a fortune since switching, and even if I hadn't it wouldn't really be a factor as I treat it more as a hobby.

That problem with a body used to nicotine has been my biggest problem, but not in a 'grumpy' way.
I realised that my focus and concentration had completely gone, and I need it desperately for my work.
I've had to get some WTA to add to a menthol liquid and I use it briefly on and off throughout the day. For me, I'm happier using that than staying with a higher nicotine liquid.

Another way is to use nootropics supplements such as Pramiracetam or Oxiracetam, but I prefer to keep that to a minimum. Unfortunately, these seem to have the best effect on focus! The WTA does help though.

Once I realised what had happened with my concentration abilities, it made sense that a body that's been used to a level of nicotine all it's adult life may not function quite the same once those levels are greatly diminished.
Hopefully, it'll improve with time.
