Just ordered some new parts from good prophets and I am just wondering if they are compatable with one another. Herre are links to the parts.

Battery: Joye eGo-T 2 Upgrade 650mah Battery

Atomizer: eGo-T TANK Atomizer for Joye eGo (style A)

tank: Joye Empty Cartridge for eGo-T TANK

Charger: USB Charger for Joye eGo

Liquid: USB Charger for Joye eGo Minthol Flavor.

Any input would be great. Has anyone used the GP Flavorfull liquid before?

Slightly off topic, my old battery crapped out on me today, It sits on the charger for ever and never gets any charge ;(
I'm not sure what brand it was, its a hand me down, but it has a gold lancer logo on it.

Looks like everything should be compatible. I would however go with maybe with an eGo twist or Vision Spinner for your battery. And make sure you have at least 2 batteries. Backups, backups, and more backups.

Why should I go with a diff battery? I am new to this whole vaping thing and never purchased anything before.

Menthol flavored USB charger. DOH!

Other than that you nailed it. (Sorry...) Got all the right bits & bobs for a type A tank setup. Correct charger too.

Regarding the old battery: Since you don't know it's history it might very well be dead. Another possibility is the center post got pushed into the battery and it's not making contact. That can happen if you screw stuff onto the battery too tightly. You want to take something small and pointy - like a very small jeweler's screwdriver - and work around the center post, trying to pull it back up the tiniest bit as you go. Try it a bit, put it on the charger and see if that helps. If it doesn't, try working the post up a bit more again.

Not quite sure what you mean by center post.

The difference - not explained to you - is the battery you selected is fixed voltage, and an eGo Twist or Vision Spinner has several voltages you can select from by turning a knob of sorts at the base of it. That allows you to change the vaping experience somewhat, depending on your liquid and the type of device (carto, tank atty etc.) you want to use. But there is nothing all that wrong starting with a fixed voltage battery either.

I don't think he meant a " different " battery... just an " extra " battery... you will find that when your battery dies that is when you will most likely want to vape... simply because you can't ! The eGo T ( Twist ) is a variable voltage battery that will let you dial in the voltage you want to find the more " perfect " vape for you... basically it gives you more control... that is why you see people running around with mods. I would highly recommend another battery... I currently have 6 and some days don't feel like that is enough... ha ha... you will quickly realize what we mean.

If this is a standard type of e-cig battery it has two contact points it makes with either the charger or anything you screw onto it. Look down into the part that screws onto the charger and you should see a round center post that is separated from the outside wall of the battery (the part with threads.) It's that center post in the middle that might be the source of your problem.

Ok I got ya. I tried that and it moves a little bit but it didnt fix the problem. Anyone else have a similar problem? I know its not the battery that is shot bc it works when there is no cartridge screwed on. weird.

Hi Kazurik,
Sounds like something may have a "short". I dont know if you have a meter? I would be careful and not use that "cartrige" on the new battery you ordered. And please don't mess with the positive center pin on your new battery. Don't overtighten any of this stuff.....bad things can happen.
