Hi Everyone,

First time post so please go easy on me . . .

I've spent the last two days reviewing UK E-Cig suppliers and websites trying to determine which starter kit would suit me, and I'm lost. I 'think' I have it down to 4 possible starter kits but I don't want to fork out without getting some advise from some experienced 'vapers'. So here is a little about what I need:

A. I currently smoke menthol 'roll-ups', about 25 a day, but I want to quit tobacco.
B. I need an E-Cig that will last around 9 hours, even if it has a PCC, at least until I can charge it when I get home from work.
C. It needs to be 're-fillable', where I can buy the e-liquid (menthol) and refill the cartridges my self.

The four possibilities are below:

1. Realis Starter Pack BLACK + FREE 30ml e-Liquid* [REALISSPb] - £35.00 : Electronic cigarettes stop the need to quit smoking – Liberro, Electronic cigarette products stop the need to quit smoking. No need to stop smoking today with Liberro electric cig
2. V1P PCC starter kit - PCC kits by JAC Vapour Ltd
3. Electronic cigarette starter kits from ROK premium electronic cigarettes
4. DSE 901-T

If the above are nothing like what I'm looking for, please don't hesitate to say, but after spending so many hours looking I'm starting to worry I'm on the wrong track all together!

Do you have to have a pen style ( analog look alike) ? If not I would say save yourself the stroll down mediocre lane and upgrade now before you even buy.
With that kind of menthol habit you need the satisfaction of a good vapor producing TH machine like the EGO's. Looki into a 650mah or better EGO kit with clearomizers or the new Vision V2's for cortomizers. Settle on a good 50/50 PG/ VG menthol lquid and enjoy! HAppy Vaping!

The problem I see as a relative noob myself is that all of the minis that look like cigs have poor battery life.
You might be better served by looking to something like an eGo style kit.
That is what I started with when I went from about the same 25 or so per day to vaping.
2 eGo batteries lasted me well over a full work day. 3 meant that I never had to worry.
Almost everyone who starts off with those minis moves up rather quickly anyway.

Hello & welcome Mattherat :)

As others have said, non of the mini types are going to cut it for you as you will be constantly recharging the batteries.

Elfstone, just about any e-cig is available in the Uk. Only confusing thing being they can have different model names to the ones in the USA :)

This is the kit I recommend to any one new or newish to vaping - it's just such a good price from a really good UK supplier. Use discount code ECF for 10% off - (you will need to buy some e-liquid as well).

The VE Riva 1100 Deluxe Kit £34.95 - Deluxe Vaping Kits - Riva 1100 Kit Electronic Cigarettes | Vaping Devices | Accessories | E-Liquid

I may be wrong, but I think the Riva is the same as the VGO that all you folks from across the pond recommend?

And here is a list of some of the best UK suppliers plus some discount codes -

I would suggest getting a KGO kit to start off with. It will last you most (if not all day) and will provide you with a good, solid throat hit/draw. The only thing else I would suggest is getting some Boge or Smoktech ressurector cartomizers and some e juice. I am not sure what vendors sell e juice in the UK, but your choices are vast. good luck!

Yes, we have the Riva 1100, somehow sales got pushed over to the KGO.

I'd too recommend KGO or eGo. The problem you will face with "cigarette lookalikes" is that the power behind them is weak. When I quit, it was convenient but it was HARD finding a flavor/strength that have the throat hit and vape to even take my mind of the cigs. Quickly upgraded to ego.

    My two cents.
