Hey all,

I'm expecting my first order of (real) DIY supplies to arrive by the weekend. All the flavors I got are flavourart condensed flavors. On the cigexpress site they recommend starting around 5%, however in my shopping I know I came across some listings recommending 1-2% as a starting point. I'd like to start out mixing samples of each flavor independently in small batches before I get into mixing. The problem is putting 1% flavor in a 3-mL blend. I'm not a fan of the drop as a unit of measurement and even if a drop was .05-% that's giving nearly 2%, not a small enough measurement to fine tune the flavor with.

So I've thought either I use insulin needles to measure flavor, or mix up a dilution. I imagine the insulin needle would work fine with an alcohol and possibly PG base, but I suspect it may be hard pushing VG through a 31 guage needle.

So I think the dilution mix is a better idea. I can mix up a flavor diluted to 5% of the condensed flavor 0.5-mL and 9.5-mL VG(or PG). So now using the diluted flavor, 1-mL is equal to 0.05-mL of full strength flavoring.

I'm also realizing making such small batches with 100-mg/mL nicotine will require a similar dilution strategy.

Anyone commonly use a method like this, and if so care to share any ideas on the matter?

Also iI bought Peppermint, Cowboy, and Chocolate flavors. I also got menthol, koolada, MTS, Flash, EM and sucralose. If anyone has any experience with those flavors and can recommend levels they like (or blends from that list) I'd appreciate it.
