Anyway on the back packaging i recieved my smok stick in it says whats in the box ect but also says big baby beast 5mls? Just trying to work out whether i have a 5 ml tank or not im confused.

That looks like a TPD box, I think? I think what some brands/tanks do, is if you open up the tank, there's a big rubber plug in there that does nothing except take up space. With the plug in, it will only fit 2ml. If you decide, however, once you've bought it, that you'd like to remove the plug (which isn't there for any reason other than to take up space, mind) and have a little more space to put liquid in, well, that's something you've done on your own and there isn't anything they (the makers of the tank) could do to stop you from doing it. So, you still get your 5ml tank, and they get to remain TPD-compliant.

If you open up your tank, is there a big rubber plug inside it (it would be stuffed up inside the top, above the glass section)? Take it out, if you want.

Thanks for the quick reply ill send you a photo of the tank opened up there nothing thats rubber inside that that i can tank out of the tank
You're right, it doesn't look like there's one in there, it would probably be pretty visible from the other ones I've seen (I wasn't sure if the SMOK tank did or did not have them, it's just something I've seen before on other tanks.)

It also says 2016 on the box. It might just be a pre-TPD (or pre-current iteration with the 2ml limitation) product? I'm not very familiar with the regulations I'm on the other side of the pond, not sure what went into effect when.

TPD per se doesn't limit tank size, that's a common misconception. The 2ml is an arbitrary restriction of local governments. There's EU countries with no limit on refillable tank size and there are plenty of EU made tanks that exceed the 2ml. If the 2ml was a TPD prescribed maximum that wouldn't be possible.

Doesn't help though that the Chinese now make 2ml tanks to sell in every EU country so I get that's commonly referred to as "TPD version".

As to your tank - how much of a 10ml bottle fits inside, closer to half or to 1/4th? If you have a syringe that makes it even easier.
