Confusion about ohms, voltage, low resistance, high resistance.

I currently have an 650 mAh eGo battery and will soon baby step it up to an eGo twist. I am confused about which cartomizer and clearomizer replacement heads will work best for a given device. Any rule of thumb or chart that explains what ohms not to use with differant volts or mAh? I just read a low resistance carto can short my current battery and I have been vaping on one all afternoon. Kind of lost on this topic . Hope I have enough information to get some good feedback. Thanks folks.

I am sure someone will jump in with a lot more info, but my general rule of thumb is 2 Ohm at 3.7-4 volts, and 3 ohm at 5ish volts, and I don't use anything under 1.8 ohm on < 350 Mah.

Google ohms law. Battery doesn't matter. It's volts, resistance, and watts. Most batts are 3.7v.

Most ego batteries are throwing off about 3.4-3.7v. I use a couple of 650mah ego batts and find that the single coil cartomizers at 1.5ohms give a great vaping experience. Single coil 1.5ohms are great for volts under 4.0. Any higher than that I would suggest using dual coils.

LOL good old HuroCz beat me to it. I use to teach Basic Electronics to Ham Radio Novices and Techs. Here is 101
Voltage is to electricity as pressure is to water. Amps is volume in electricity and would be like gallons per hour in water. Resistance would relate to the size of the hose the smaller the hose in water the higher the resistance in electronics the higher the ohm the higher the resistance. Watts is the factor of volts * amps or the voltage squared divided by the ohms. . You want to have between about 4-10 watts apparently for good vapor. To high and you burn the juice and fry your atty to low and you don't' get good vapor.
