Confusion about the Aspire Nautilus

So, long story short, I've had my nautilus for about 3 weeks now, and I finally changed the coil, because I was getting that burned in taste. I had bought the BVC replacement tanks, and was telling my buddy how amazing they were.

He just bought his Nautilus, about a week after I did and was telling me that his came with the BVC installed. Sure enough, the back of his box says it came with the BVC. My Nautilus box says it came with the BDC though.

Both of us have the same tank, why would one come with the BDC and one with the BVC?

The Aspire Nautilus originally shipped with the BDC. (BVC had not been introduced yet) Some time later the Aspire Nautilus mini released with the BVC to much praise so Aspire stopped shipping the original Nautilus with the BDC and reshipped new supplies of the Nautilus with the BVC included. Your tank and your friends are identical they just shipped with older BDC and newer BVC. I hope that helps.

Just got my nautilus yesterday, came with 4 BVC coils plus the 5 I ordered additionally. I'm hoping they'll last me a while!

What are now the cheaper Nautilus tanks seem to come with the "older" BDC, sort of a clearance sale. Although this is not in all cases.
The newer and generally more expensive ones are coming with the newer BVC coils.
