"Connect with Facebook" problem

How do I get this $%^&!!! "Connect with Facebook" avatar/thingie to go away? It's splattered over every page I view, sometimes in 20 or more places.
I was lurking (unregistered) last week, and it wasn't a problem then. I really don't want to "Connect with Facebook" anyway.
But the forum would be much more enjoyable to read without this banner or whatever it is appearing on the pages.

lol, funny part is I can't use the Facebook Connect to login since yesterday.

I think this shows the problem clearly enough.

Edit: I just tried browsing using IE 7 instead of FireFox and the problem seems to be confined to FireFox browser.
