connecting a pass trough mod to iphone

lets say there's passthrough mod that connects with usb so if I'll buy a adapter that connect to the iphone and to an usb connector will it work? I mean connecting the mod to the iphone

Phones do not output USB power as far as I know.

There is a solar powered phone that MIGHT output power, but definitely not any android or iPhone that I know of. The Innokin MVP (yes not a phone) can charge a phone however

You would have to attach it to your battery contacts. I wouldn't recommend it

Not really sure with iPhones, but shouldn't at least Androids with support for OTG (USB on the go) provide at least *some* power? I reckon the same could hold true when using some USB mod for the iPhone?

I seriously doubt the ability of any phone or powerbank battery for vaping. We use hi discharge batts because a standard batt cant keep up with the power demand. I also doubt the longevity of wiring/electrical pathways since you would be trying to run them and the battery at or above max capacity.

Most phones use LiPo batteries which can indeed support the high drains we subject them to. However the USB host port on a phone would probably not supply more than 500ma, so you would need to do additional wiring, which would be the real problem.
