Hi, I've been vaping about 2 years or so. I'm finally thinking about pulling the trigger on a pro vari. I've got a few questions for you owners:

1. What is the weight of this device like? I already own a Legacy by pure smoker. The weight is sort of a negative for me as is the length. Is the pro vari super heavy with battery?

2. How long are you guys getting with the standard mini set up, i.e., the 700 mah battery?

3. I want something small and pocketable, is this the device for me?

It is heavy compared to aluminum mods. Similar in weight to the Vamo in 350 mode.

If you're gonna carry it in a shirt pocket, I do that all the time. I never carry one in my pants pocket due to issues with the possibility of breaking anything attached to the ProVari.

I can go at least half a day on the 18350 with moderate vaping. I carry a spare battery. Use an old plastic film canister, or in my case, the plastic can my diabetes test strips come in for the spare.

If it were me, I'd get the standard and go with the 18490 battery. It's pocketable too, and not that much heavier. Much longer vape time.

if u use some sort of carrying case then i guess that battery setup wont be a problem for you as you have all ur gears in one place.

me personally, i have 3 for my mini. 1 in use and
2 spares in a battery case. i find this setup to work for me as i dont have to carry an addt'l cap for a different sized battery (and also not worry about losing/misplacing it). but if u really must have 2 different sizes (u could even do 3 w/ another 3rd party extenders), i suggest getting 2 of each size. at least that way when u need to replace the battery u dont need an extra cap with u. of course it all depends on how u carry ur stuff and how much battery u need to last u on an average day. bare minimum or all out! :D just m
y 2 cents.

I have the regular Provari and the battery extension cap, and use it in both modes. I just got a Mini for out and about use. I get between 6 - 8 hours use with the default 18350 battery. About 12 - 14 hours use with the 18490 and about 16 - 18 hours use with the 18650 on the regular Provari. It depends largely how heavy I'm vaping them on any given day.

Provari vs Mini? Depends upon how you plan to use it. If mostly as a home use only PV, I'd go with the regular size with ext. cap. If more as an on the go device, I'd get the Mini and carry a spare battery or two with me. I plan on getting a Serenity Gear flex-sleeve/lanyard for the Mini when he begins taking orders again in mid-May.

Hi - I weighed my mini a while back. My mini (standard cap) with an 18350 inside and a polypro carto tank about 1/2 full it weighed 5.25oz.
