I NEED CONSISTANCY AND ADJUSABILITY!!!
I am still wheening myself off cigarettes and am down to 4 cigs a day (from 2 to 3 packs a day). I NEED something that I can adjust and is consistant. Anything short of that and I am going to start thinking of smoking a cigarette.
Why?
Because cigarettes are so damn consistant... thats why. Cigarettes also deliver much more nicotine per drag than ecigs do. That is where the adjustability come in. I NEED to be able to crank that bad boy up to 11 if my cravings start to get the better of me.
Got me an iTaste SVD, some Boge cartos, and a couple J-tanks. This setup makes for a very adjustable and consistant vaping experience. I also ordered a couple IBTanked tanks as well which should be here on friday.
I also got a couple of the slap-your-mama tools and the aluminum block carto punch. I ordered some of the Boge pre-punched cartos, but still wanted the ability to punch my own as well.
Here is a picture of my rig...

i'm no expert, but am fairly knowledeable about vaping gear, and this is a very solid rig and not all that expensive.
My impression of the iTaste SVD is very good so far. The regulation is very good. In fact, the button gloes red right now when I take a hit and the battery is at 3.3 volts. It will be ready to need a battery change, and it is still vaping as though I just put a fresh battery in it. The adjustment seems to be very accurate as well, and the ability to adjust the wattage is very handy as I like to switch my cartos/carto tanks throughout the day, and I never have to worry about the +/- .2ohm varience in the carto resistance. The only time I have to fiddle with the adjustment is when I want a stronger or weaker vape. The device seems to be built solid, and I like the 2 side buttons for adjusting the up/down setting. It's much better than the 1 button systems that are out there, and it's so much easier to change settings, view the battery voltage, and see what the resistance of your carto is. I also like that the screen does NOT light up when you take a hit. I don't need to see the setting every time I take a hit, so why waste battery power. And I like that the button lights at different colors to give you a ballpark of your battery level.
All that combined makes for a very efficient and well designed device (IMO).
My impression of carto/carto tanks is also very good, but you gotta get decent ones. I can use the cartos all by them selves or with a carto tank. I ussually use the carto tanks for my all day liquids, and just cartos for the flavors that I just like to hit once and a while. Cartos seem to be the most consistant delivery that I have found so far, and although the clearomizers seem to be getting better, they still seem to have consistancy issues. A decent carto/carto tank will give you a very consistant vaping experience at a very resonable price.
I need something adjustable, consistant, and simple to keep me from thinking about cigs, and so far this setup seems to be working very well for me, and I hope that somebody in the same boat will read this and maybe get that much closer to getting off the cigs.
