It seems that when my battery reaches 3.6 volts, the vape quality drops on my new mini. Exactly what the prov is supposed to not do, that's half the reason I bought it. It's not as bad as my ego T mod, but noticeable. I checked voltage output with my meter, and it's the same over the entire life of the battery, but I can't check current output.

anyone else experience this? I'm gonna put a tag in with provape about it, just wondered if you guys and girls have had this happen.

Current flow is directly related to voltage and resistance. You can check both V and R with your Provari. If you are getting consistent voltage under load and your coil is wound as advertised, you are getting the current you expect.

I(current)=E(voltage) / R(resistance)

Buy one of the digital voltmeters with the 510 threads that screws in between your atty and your Provari. Your will see that the Provari is producing what you dial up in the menu. When I set mine for 4v, the inline digital meter reads 3.99v. That said, many of the Visions Viv Nova heads I use are far off from their advertised resistance when resistance checked on the Provari under load. You have to adjust voltage to compensate for the variance.

Go here to buy a digital inline voltmeter for around $15.

mike,
I noticed the exact same thing with my mini as yours 'cept I was using a carto in a tank. I thought it meant my battery was on its last leg (cyclewise) or maybe even my mini but when I threw in a fresh carto I was back in business and getting stable performace from the battery side of things when it was low so I think Bad was right about it being a delivery dvice issue.
