Consistent burnt taste in my Unwell Crown RBA

I've tried different ways to wick, increased the diameter of my coils, tried starting at a low wattage and gradually ramping up, had my local shop check my build and STILL I am getting a consistent burnt taste with my vape. I've changed my OHMs, my wattage, my juice, everything I could think of. When I take it apart the cotton and the coil look great, no burning or residue. I am so frustrated! This wasn't an issue for the first month or two, so it has to be a user error.

Any thoughts or advice?

I know this is not everyone's favorite product but I can't replace it right now. So I really need to find a way to make this work. I'm still having so much trouble trying to kick the stinkies and this isn't helping. WAH!

Good Luck and keep on vaping to kick the stinkies. I am not familiar with your with your gear but an Internet search revealed many users complaining about the same issue and the most popular conclusion or fix was it takes 2 tanks for the taste to go away. I hope it helps you stay off the "Killer Sticks"! Good Luck

I believe the crown rba base is terrible and the only thing I would suggest is less wick but that increases your leaks

But again it's not a great rba

I'm also having issues with the, erm, "Unwell" Crown RBA. Instead of burnt hit, mine leaks like crazy no matter how.

I found the only decent vape I got from the crown rba was using nickel

For the leaking....completely close the air flow. Draw on it as hard as you can without actually firing. THEN open your air flow. I don't know why, but it works like a charm for me to stop leaks.

I've had good results with the crown RBA, try wicking it with rayon.
