Consistent Cartomizers?

I have been using cartos ever since I got some by mistake instead of the atomizers I ordered. I liked the convenience of not having to drip (especially while driving)

Now I had consistency issues with atomizers too, but it seems to be worse with the cartos. I have tried several different kinds: Joye, Bauway, Boge, and CE-2's (which have been better, but having to use the syringe is a pain refill on the go) and out of the usual packs of five, several tend not to work, either giving a bad burning taste or not working at all.

Is there any brand in particular that can be filled like these that will be consistent?

The ego-T seems the way to go. I'd really like to try a tank carto with my Riva (like an ego). I definitely don't want to mess with syringes just to fill or top off cartos. I'm having trouble finding them though, plus I'd have to get an atomizer that works with them. I've been using V4L cartos with their passthrough while at home and 510 Boge cartos on the Riva with good results.

Things are changing so fast. It's hard to know what to do. The tank systems seem like a very good idea to me and I'm waiting for their price to come down a little. E-cigs have progressed exponentially during the time I've been using them (since May, 2008). I'd love any input about ego tank attys and the carts that go with them, especially for using with a Riva. Personally, I get way more consistency with the cartomizers than I ever did with regular atty/cartridge combos.

I use a 30 mL plastic bottle with blunt 22ga applicator tip to fill my E2 carto's, work like a charm.

I 'd seen them in the past.... but can't find them now....
I knew they were interesting @ the time,just did not know why ?

I would love a few now ..........

& a note to the OP ...
I have only tried the kr808's & the ego mega carto's.... the mega's are great,
BUT sadly NOT consistent ....well they are consistent if you only use them a day or two & toss 'em !

Thanks Player - I ordered and received some IKV 510 Cartomizer Gold V2 Drip-Style. The first one I tried had an extremely harsh throat hit, harsh enough that it hurt. I had this happen once before with Janty Dura's 510 atomizers. The second Ikenvape IKV 510 Cartomizer Gold V2 Drip-Style I tried seems fine.

Does anyone know what causes this much too harsh throat hit? Is there anything I can do to adjust it? After 2+ years of using 510 and 808 cartos, I've had this happen only twice.

I like these and the drip tip, but I don't need all those drip tips. Which other IKV 510 carto compares to this one?

In my two years of using cartos, the Bloog MaxxFusion cartos are by far the best performers, and very consistent too.

I would recommend the blanks so that you can use your favorite juice.

This month is my 3 year anniversary, and I'm happy I finally found the right gear for ME.

I have not tried the Bloog but the Iken vape Gold v-2's have been awesome. I have also had really good performance from the Boge LR2.0 ohm cartos.

Thanks Fauxpuff. Congratulations on your 3-year anniversary! My 3 year anniversary will be in June this year. I'd really like to try Bloog's MaxxFusion cartomizers, so I went to their site. If they come down in price, especially S/H, I may consider them. I wrote to them expressing my concerns one week ago and am still waiting for a reply.

i may not be a good source of "seasoned" information. but the smoktek 2.0ohm cartos from madvapes is all im using now. ive tried a pack of every carto they offer, and these were the best. i would get 1 bad out of 5 on all the brands madvapes carried, in one pack i think 3 were bad. packed too tight, bad taste on second refill, etc.

out of the 6 or so packs of the smoktek 2.0ohm ive had, MAYBE 1 didnt work right? each one lasts me about 4-6 days before it starts to under perform. i generally keep 4 in rotation, and those 4 last me nearly the whole month. these are what got me off dripping.

i would consider myself an average vaper. 3-4mL a day. which equates to a full fill on each carto a day.

You had better be prepared to buy a Bloog MF batt, if you buy their cartos, because they don't do well on 3.7V or above!
