Constantly dragging

It could be the strength of nicotine you crave should be higher, like 24 or 36 mg, but I'll be you have an ecigarette model that doesn't draw easily. After buying several KR808D-1 type batts with 2 air holes under the threads I moved up to the 380 mAh types that have 4 holes and suddenly I can draw easily and don't find myself constantly dragging on 'em. Perhaps you should try a different model?:?:

Since i compleatly stopped cigs and just do vapers i find myself constantly dragging on a 16mg cartomizer. Does anyone else do this and have any tips to just try to use it when i need it

Sound like your nic strength needs to be upped if you're constantly vaping. Try 24mg and see if you slow down some. It pretty much works for the rest of us.

A lot of people vape constantly when they first start.
I personally believe this happens because there is no actual stop signal - in other words you don't have a .... to put out.
Also the flavors are enjoyable and many prefer them to the flavor of a regular cig.
Sometimes it is due to not using a high enough nicotine strength. As time goes on you will most likely find that you slow down in your vaping once the newness wears off.

I agree that you might try stepping the nicotine up a notch. This should help you vape less but it is your own personal experience. A lot of the vapers I talk to also vape much more under stress, similar to how they acted with cigarettes. Depending on your personal situation this may be more of a stress issue than a nicotine issue which a higher nicotine dose may or may not help.

As others have suggested, perhaps you should try to up your nic level if you don't want to vape so much. I enjoy the use and flavors of my PV and I personally am way more addicted to the hand-to-mouth aspect of it, therefore I purposely vape almost all day long. To account for this fact, I use a lower nic level to make sure I'm level all day and not OD'ing on nicotine. I also agree that there is no "stop signal" like there was with regular cigarettes.

I think that a week in, you should vape as much as you need to. ESPECIALLY if you've dropped the cigs entirely. If you vape too much, or with too high a nicotine level, your body will tell you so. As long as you're not getting headaches or feeling nauseous over it, you're not vaping "too much".

I will also agree with those who said you'll slow down after awhile. Once your mind breaks all those psychological habits of cigarettes, you'll level into a nice sweet spot. It can take a month or more depending on the person, but it goes by lightning fast. Sounds to me like you're doing fine.

Occupy your time. If I get engrossed in a project, I vape a heck of a lot less than when I am free and clear. I can go a full 8 hour shift with a few puffs if I concentrate on a project, whereas when I am browsing and replying on forums, tired, or watching T.V., I find the urge amplifies.
