I ordered the ToL by hcigar today and I'm curious about something before ordering a tank to go with it. Since the pins on the ToL are copper, would it make more sense to get a tank with copper pins, like the Fogger V4? Or does it not really matter? I'm at a crossroads with the Dual Airflow Kayfun or the Fogger V4 and I'm trying to find any little detail to make my decision easier lol

Thanks,

Matthew

Although copper conducts better than stainless steel, with the size of the center contact pin in either the Fogger or the Kayfun, you're talking a difference in resistance somewhere in the nano-ohm (0.000000xxx ohms).

I'm not familiar with the Dual Airflow Kayfun, but I've gotta say that the Fogger V4 is a pretty darn good vape.

At the (relatively) modest resistances you'd run with most any PD RTA, 'optimized' conductivity is not a great concern.
The conductivity provided by untarnished copper or silver (of adequate size/cross section, as alluded to by K_Tech) would be an important consideration only when dealing with resistances south of 0.3Ω - and/or current requirements exceeding 15 amps.
At that resistance, I'd be more concerned with the conductivity of the mech's button design conductive contact surface area - the point of issue for most mechs that have a voltage drop in excess of 0.15v - than the atty pin metallurgy/surface plating.

I've tested the Infinite ToL clone with an Origen V2, down to 0.2Ω, and was reasonably impressed - I can't comment on the performance of the slightly less costly Hcigar version, as I've not had one cross my bench yet.

As flavor perception is highly subjective - all IMO from here on... Until the Chinese come along and clone the Gus Estia (as close to a multi-coil RDA as one can get for flavor performance), I'd rate the Yi Loong Fogger V4 at the top 3 of conventional PD RTA clones, along with the (Infinite or Hcigar) Taifun GT and various, better quality versions of the Kayfun/R91.
If you're a big fan of air flow... then the dual inlet port KFL+ clone is a bit better in that regard than others mentioned... however, the flavor quality provided by the Fogger V4 is still slightly superior.
