There probably isn't a contest - two threads saying the same thing and no one is coming back on to say who won.

Waste of time.

I am truly sorry you feel this way. I can assure your that our contests are for real and all winners do receive their prizes. We have run three contests in the last few months and have awarded many prizes such as EGO kits, 510 kits, DSE905 kits, KR808D kits and other very nice prizes. We always announce our contests in advance and clearly post the contest format and rules, such as the notification for our latest contest which states:

"On Thursday 12/30/10 between 8:00pm and 8:10pm Eastern standard time I will post a thread opening the contest."

Indeed at 8:07PM on 12/30/10 a new thread opening the contest was started which awarded prizes to the #'s 2, 10 ,20, 30, 40 posts in that thread. We announced the winners and sent PM's to them within 30 minutes of the end of the contest. We even awarded consolation prizes to posts #'s 41 and 50 which were never promised in advance. We do this on our own, as while not a requirement to be a sponsoring supplier on ECF, we are appreciative of the business that we receive from forum members and we feel that it is a decent gesture to run contests from time to time and give back, especially the ECF members who have long supported us, plus we thought it might be fun. Again, I can say with conviction that our contests are simply to give away prizes with no strings attached meaning there is no requirement for any past or future purchases as these awards are sent to the winners expeditiously at absolutely no cost or obligation to them. Perhaps, some past or present winners can chime in and back me up on this but either way, I stand on my word and reputation.

I was on another thread posting for this.

Maybe you should have read the rules more closely... uhh.gif

As a previous winner (of a 510 kit), I can also attest to the fact that the contests run by Electronic Ash are not only a lot of fun, but are fairly run as well. They always follow the same procedure: One thread announcing the contest, another where the contest actually takes place, and the final one announcing the winners... (look back through some of their older posts)

In my case, the winners were posted immediately after the contest, as well as my notification being sent, and I believe that my prize was shipped the very next day, Priority Mail... In the box was also included a discount code good for the next order.

I still have the kit, since I am giving it as a gift to a friend for New Years', and I just recently contacted them to see if the code was still good, and transferable to the person who would be receiving the gift, and was told that there was no problem with that!!

Maybe you should check your facts a little better next time before making accusations... angelic.gif

Wishing everyone a Peaceful and Prosperous New Year!!

I have been contacted and sent my info.
I was so very lucky as I have never entered any of the electronic ash contests (did not know about them). Stumbled upon and read the first thread and went looking for the new thread and posted twice, almost back to back and was post #40.
I look forward to trying your product!

Way to single me out !!! I wasn't the only one confused about where the contest was.

Oh well - I'll accept it because of the "probably isn't a contest" remark was a bit harsh and sounded like I was stomping my feet like a spoiled brat (hanging her head and walking out ashamed of herself).

Taras,

I am truly sorry about my comment and should not have said that. I have never ordered from you but AM SURE you are top notch vendor and didn't mean to imply you were not honest. I was confused and missed the "new thread" part of your post. I was being a "brat" and need to up my nicotine a bit :)

Again, I am very sorry.

And, you gain the ultimate in respect for a well-written explanation/reply, Rudy. Very nicely done.
We're all guilty of speaking/typing out of turn on occasion but you show your class by typing out an apology. Kudos, ma'am.

I haven't won an Electronic-Ash contest, probably because I've never entered one. LOL But, I can attest that Taras is one class act as well. IMHO, Electronic-Ash is the best e-cig vendor out there (ONLY quality products, low prices, no price gouging on shipping, the BEST customer service and terrific personal advice on products) and Taras is so much more than just a proprietor, he is a friend to his customers.

I'm glad that you rescinded your original comments. My feeling is that you averted a flame or 100 from those of us that KNOW Taras and E-A.

Happy New year, Rudy. It's a pleasure to meet you.

No need to apologize, it is a pleasure meeting you and I plan on running more of these contests in the future, so keep a lookout as you are more than welcome to participate. I wish you and your loved ones a safe and prosperous New Year!
