Especially given the fact that I also believe that all the banners submitted are great as they were - particularly given that each of them were different and so special . . . And came from the person who actually created them . . . Matter of fact, IMO - I really like the idea and concept of a few and can't wait to see which one "Fits" what YOU are looking for . . .

NO That is not what I am suggesting nor want You to do . . .
Your work speaks for itself and you without a doubt deserve to be in the contest . . .
It is the rest of the stuff that other people are doing that I have a problem with and encouraging you to change things now when the period for that is over . . .
From what the vendor stated - This part of the contest is for voting on the banner/s people like - not making suggestions to any one contestant to change stuff . . .
So please do not withdraw . . .The Vendor will choose which banner they like and then whoever has the most likes will win the second prize . . .as it was stated in the rules and meant to be anyway . . .

If I win great if not that's great too. My sole purpose for getting involved was to have fun and help where I could but I don't want anyone to think I'm taking unfair advantage. Well I thought they were trying to come up with the best banner they could. That's done through ideas and conversation. I on the other hand was just having fun. You have - NOT Offended "Me" - NOR did or do I belive you were taking unfair advatage of anything . . . We are GOOD as far as I am concerned

Like "YOU" - I entered this contest to have FUN and see if I could possibly create something the Vendor would like (BTW - Honestly I hope to Win an AVP/mod too) . . . And -Although I have dappled in graphics and design - I am not a professional in any way . . . I can't even use the Adobe Photoshop programs I have . . . BTW - whatever supposed "expertise" I have is only by trial & error - it takes me hours to actually "Produce" the idea/concept of what I come up with or anything else I do via the computer . . .

More importantly, IMO - I really like your work and the other banners I saw . . . They can and do stand on there own they way they are . . .

OH - BTW, I never have a problem with collaboration or having someone else provide a fresh set of eyes to assist/cretquic (I know spelled wrong), especially if it gets the job done . . .Maybe some day in the future "WE" can work together on a project too . . .

I know I had my Photoshop forever and just started playing with it a few mo. ago. I do a lot of stuff in paint because it's easier for me to use.There's a lot of good tutorials on the web. I also have cs5 illustrator but so far all I can do is turn it on and off. Playing with graphics is addicting. Have a good one Uncle and good luck. I hope you win an AVP/MOD.

Thanks for the opportunity for a prize. I am not a graphic designer, I am self taught on photoshop. So some of my stuff is elementary, but I really had fun trying things out, and learned a lot also. Now if I can get this phoenix rebuildable crap down I will be happy. Fried my ego battery last night

The banner background is very wide shot of Niagra Falls with mist (Vapor) rising from it. There is a fine transparent line that bisects the banner vertically used to create a bilateral effect.

Semi-circular red, white, and blue, lettering forming an arch cuts across the divider and reaches from one side of the banner to the other reading "VapeNYNYVape";VapeNY is on one side of the divider and NYVape ison the other.

On the left side of the banner is an inset drawing of Peter Stuyvesant smoking a pipe. Across from him on the right side is a chicly dressed New York Latina model and she is Vaping with a PV.

ON the left side of the banner, under Stuyvesant is an old time NY Fire Truck. Mirroring it on the right side is an icon saying I (heart) NYFD

On the left side is an Indian Smoking a peace pipe offering beads. On the right side is a shot of the UN building.

These icons, or images, are arranged, on the left and right sides so that room is left for the following Lettering forming a semicircular bottom complementing the top arching text, also just split by the bisect and in the middle of these complimentary "arches" is one very Big apple with I(heart)NY written on it and a kr808 autochrome image just under it)

The banners above were our favorites. We have decided to call 5cardstud the winner of the mod because we liked the most from 5cardstud and one of his we agreed we liked the best.

The blue gradient banners from Uncle received the most votes so Uncle will win second prize.

He will win 5 bottles of juice and a VNY510 atomizer.

We were really blown away by how much work everyone did... so all the other participants who submitted written ideas will get a free VNY510 atomizer and all those who submitted banners will get a free bottle of juice and an atomizer.

Thanks to everyone for your hard work and we really appreciate all the creativity! For the banners we choose to use we may email you asking for original files so we can make any necessary changes to it.
