I'm not sure if some of you know but there are contests/giveaways all over the E Suppliers Forum here on ECF. When I found that out I was all happy, like cool maybe I could win something. Nope. No Way.
But most of theses so called contests/giveaways are nothing but who can spam the most posts to get entries to win.
And there are a group of people who do nothing but spam and spam and spam and spam entries all day long and all night long. They literally post dozens if not hundreds of entries into every contests everyday. And big surprise, those are the same people winning all the time.

And it's completely unfair for a regular person to enter the contest because they don't have a shot in hell to win. They can't sit in front of the computer all day and constantly enter every 2 minutes. Now I now life isn't fair, but this is just completely ridiculous. I won't buy anything from any of these suppliers who are running contests/giveaways like this.

These should be run fairly so EVERYONE has an equal chance to enter and maybe win something. Not just the people with an unlimited amount of time on their hands. I know some of you feel the same way I do about this issue.

There are plenty of contest that you can only enter once. Some allow you to enter as many times as you like. To say I'm not buying anything from someone who promotes their products by giving it away to me is ridiculous. I don't have time to enter a contest 50 times a day to increase my chances, but if I did have time, I would and you probably would too if it was something you were wanting. I think it's awesome that suppliers post contests for people to get to try products for FREE. You can't say the contests aren't fair just because you don't have time to post. :glare:

Like most things, those who do their homework get better results. If one doesn't want to spend time posting a lot, there are still plenty of contests that only allow one post or a couple a day. Sticking to only those types of contests, I have won an Evic and 30ml bottles of liquid from The Vapor Room, Halo and Mr E-Liquid, to name a few. All in a few minutes time here on ECF, and I really appreciate it.

I drop a post on them here and there but I'm not ...... that I don't get picked. Really don't care too much, if it happens well lucky me if not nothing wasted but a few seconds for the post. My atf B&M draws for a $100 store credit every month. You buy over $20 you get a ticket close to the end of the month they draw and post to facebook I usually have 4 or 5 tickets none a winner yet. I still go there I still buy. I still don't care win or not. I did win a juice stand last week by getting to the store first after they did the fb post. I was just down the street.

It's all up to the vendor how they run their contests - they can let the massive entries roll in or they can limit it. Their contest, their rules. Never heard of contest where the entrants make the rules. Enter when and where you can and be happy for the chance. Always someone out there trying to get a free lunch and then gets all bent out of shape when they don't get it. I know there are a lot of contests for all kinds of stuff on FB and whatever other social networks there are. I don't do FB type of stuff so I can't enter those and I don't cry about it.
Have a nice day.:)

I always enter in one of the contests for my local B&M. You can only enter once and the winner is picked at random from the entries. If you don't like the contests where you can enter an unlimited amount of times find a new contest where you can only enter once. I'm sure there's plenty of them in the suppliers forums. :2c:

I've entered a few contests but haven't won anything.
Did notice on one of the contests that I entered....the person who won didn't even enter?? I looked at all the posts...nada.
What's with that?
I may still enter from time to time but not going to sit by my puter constantly entering in the hopes of getting something for free.

Still willing to make that bot. I could do it in < a day I imagine. I just don't wanna get banned for it.

You could input how long you wanted it to post for (minutes/hours), maybe what you want it to post exactly. It'd require you to be idle (ie: it'll do stuff on your screen, you can't use your computer at the same time as the bot).
