Hi all,

Inspired by Bootyology's thread about juice getting "stuck" in the middle of Fluval wicking (and my constant battle with rinsing them), I decided to try the Lipton Tea Pyramid method, and I am hooked. :D

I tried regular teabags in the past and they just got mushy on me.

The special 'pyramid' bags are nylon, have greater heat resistance than the polyester and IMO, simply taste cleaner as there are no stray burning fibers to combat as with polyester.

I have a 901/Mini atty, so am rolling the teabag, folding in half and then cutting to be just below the atty lip and it is vaping perfection.

Yay!

Anyone else having success with this?

Dawghouse, I found mine in Krogers. They were in the tea section and come in a box that is about 4x4 on the front. They are with the specialty flavors. I picked a flavvor that I thought I would like and often use the tea bag to make tea and then cut it open, dump out the wet tea grounds and rinse the bag and use it. I haven't noticed any difference in flavor doing this.

I will post this pic. I looked at Meijers, and Kroger and did not find them, but did find them at walmart. I was looking for a different box, so that is probably why I did not see them at my local Kroger or Meijer.

I tried this today. I set up the cart then filled it like I would normally (till a small amount of liquid was standing). It worked well but later I noticed I smelled strawberry and checked the cig in my shirt pocket to see it had leaked a lot. Did I just over fill? Does it not take as much liquid to fill this stuffing? Has anyone else experienced this?

not to go off topic, but does your Krogers have self checkout machines? If so are they built by Fujitsu? Are they labeled as U-Scan Genesis? Haha sorry for the weird questions, just curious because I work for Fujitsu making self checkout machines and Kroger is one of our biggest customers, we build A LOT of them for them so out of curiosity I had to ask.

Great! Thanks for the picture. I don't have Kroger or Meijer here, but there's a Walmart not too far away!

Anybody tried pantyhose material? After all it's nylon.
Pantyhose is not nylon. Its probably been 25 years since I put on a pair of those blasted things, but I can assure you, they do NOT hold up to heat. You can blast a hole in hose by just thinking about heat.

PTB are true nylon/mesh bags.

All,

Any grocery store that carries Lipton tea bags will likely have these.

There is a video pinned in the tips & tricks forum on how to roll 'em.

The Kroger self checkouts are annoying, Meijers have much better, and I think Walmarts are about the same. The new Kroger self checkouts are actually not bad, but I still think they are not as good.

What do you do for them?

BTW, did not mean to diminish your job or company, just a observation.

They're built on an assembly line, so I work a spot on there, the jobs not all that great and doesn't pay that well either, but it's money to pay the bills, and that's basically it. I can build a whole one by myself but we have to build on the assembly line so I'm stuck standing in one spot all day, makes for a long 10 hours. Unfortunately it's pretty much a dead end job. As you can tell I don't care if you diminish my job or the company. Sorry to complain about it haha.
I've never been to a store that has one of the self checkouts I've built so I was just curious what the average customer thought of these things.

I'm actually thinking about going to the store here in a few minutes and seeing if my local Walmart has any Pyramids. I have the red headed stepchild of Walmarts near my house, so they may not have it and I may have to go to the Walmart that's 20 miles away. Otherwise there's just local people owned grocery stores around here.

I hear that the taste is stronger and much better, so after I watched MoobyGhosts video, I think that I am ready to try my first "mod" I guess that you could say. I think that the initial "Damn, this tastes strong" feeling has totally worn off after 3 days of getting used to vaping, so I'm ready to step it up.
