converting percentages

greetings everyone
once more I have come seeking the help from people who may know more than me about making their own e-juice, well I have switched from TFA brand to real flavors brand, I have bought many flavors that are super concentrates and I have found some recipes that I would love to make, but mostly all the recipes are between 5 % to 10% , so my question is as follows, does anyone have or knows a way to convert from lets say 10% of some TFA flavor to a real flavor super concentrate %, most of the super concentrates say to be used from 1% to 3% , so if I am correct 10 % of TFA flavor should be 1% of SC of real flavors right, or am I wrong, I have searched google for how to do that but to no avail, so here I am trying to wrap my little poor brain on this matter, but I can't find for the love of god anything regarding this matter.

There is no conversion between flavour percentages because you don't know how much goes into making them.

Do FA use more than someone else etc?

What you do know is that all of this is based on the total volume of the liquid that is the end result: so you only know how you make it. 10% this, 90% other stuff etc is what you like, say, and that differs for us all.

The only time it's not a matter of purely personal taste is when you use nicotine in your liquid and then for the safety of yourself and everyone else, you need to pay close attention to the amounts you mix.

Nicotine is measured in mg/ml, or how much it takes to kill people, so 18mg/ml is 1.8% of the volume of the liquid.

I really appreciate your concern about using nicotine, I am very careful when it comes to that, I am not really new at making my own e-juice I have replicated a few recipes that I have found online, I have many brands specially TFA, but I have switch to real flavors especially their super concentrates, that is why I am looking for how to adapt the % from the brands I have to real flavors

I have scanned the whole real flavors thread looking for that site, but he must had taken the link down, I remember seeing the post but I can't find it, hopefully he'll chime in and let me know the site he uses

Nah. The judge for accurate switching are YOUR taste buds. I have read about generalities, but, the taste buds call the play.

What I do with a recipe that I have to switch the ingredient from one brand to another is to just start over at making a test sample. For me, that is 5ml. Let it steep (as needed) and then test it over the course of a day or so. My sense of taste changes. Before brushing my teeth in the morning and after is a huge change. Also, after a meal where there are a lot of flavors hanging around in my mouth affect taste.

FWIW, I search Google for the brand and name of the flavor and add the search term "percentage" to trigger a hit. I get forums where people are talking about mixing that brand and flavor and I take it all into account. If they say 5% to 10% I start at 5%. I can always add flavor easier than I can decide how much unflavored nic/pg/vg juice to add to cut the mix.

Some flavor vendor sites state the average percentage range. Others don't, but the comments under the flavor talk about what they like.

FlavourArt flavors are strongly concentrated and 1% to 3% is a good starting range unless you find other comments about a particular flavor. With most FA flavors I start at 1%.

Hangsen OTOH, generally starts out at 5% and goes up from there.

This spreadsheet has what appears to be every vendor that makes DIY flavors, along with info on all the flavor percentages. Now, we need someone to convert the column labels. I right clicked and chose "Translate to English" and the columns are still in some Nordic or German language.
