I don't know about anyone else but I personally think the taste is better for some reason. I guess I am about to find out if that is the case when I use plastic and glass in the same model.

It's a shame that the only glassomizer for Aspire is the ET.

Guess it is the same concept of beer tasting better in a glass bottle over a can.

And there is a glass/stainless version of the Vivi Nova but it is a 510 base. Not sure if a swap with the SI Vivi would work. I'd personally like to see a glass version of the Mini Nova. It has a better flavor than the ET. Which seems to be the case with smaller size tanks.

I have had the same flavors back to back in a Aspire Maxi and a Protank II Mini and the plastic tastes muted to me. I can taste it in both but it is more pronounced in the glass.

I did see the Vivi Nova but I didn't clarify my statement (for the coils I already have a ton of, ET/Maxi/CEwhatever number)

Actually if you shop around you can find all of the Aspire line in glass. I have the CE5, ET, Vivi Nova for example. The Nautilus only comes in glass and hoping they make a smaller version of it at about 2 to 2.5ml.

Oh and the original Vivi Nova top wick tanks will also work on the Aspire Vivi Nova so the metal ones will also work. I've gone all glass except my Kayfun's for those I still use some plastic or with all stainless for plastic killing juices.

My Aspire ET Glassomizer has a thirst that cannot be quenched!!

I wanted to expand on my quick review of the ET Glassomizer. I have a good bit of coils that I bought for the Maxi, which I actually like and had no issues with. I simply moved to other advanced batteries that did not accommodation 808 threads. The Maxi did not leak and used what I consider to be a reasonable amount of juice. However, I had about 20 coils that I bought during the last sale and did so before buying these advanced products so considering I spent the money and liked a glassomizer I was using; figured this would be a good way to use a product I had spent money on without too much of an additional investment.

The flavor is great in the ET converted glassomizer deal. I probably get a better flavor with the SI base and coil and ET glass top than the PTII mini. My issue, and I don't know if this is the same with the SI plastic ET; is that when it gets below half and sometimes earlier, it gurgles and leaks. To be sure, I switched back to the 510 version to make sure I was getting a proper seal and I experienced the same issue.......hence, it's the ET.

What I didn't expect and didn't experience with the Maxi is this...........Aspire must have manufactured a void in the space/time continuum; a black hole where juice enters but does not leave. The ET holds over 2ml of juice which, looking at it compared to a PTII mini of the same size is absolutely flabbergasting to me. I normally vape about 3-5ml of juice a day and yesterday, I easily went through 10ml test driving the ET.

Tomorrow's test is pouring a 50 gallon drum of juice in it to see if I can get an hour or two of vaping without having to re-fill.

Joking aside, it is a good alteration if you want to try glass without having to replace all of your SI gear and worth the $8 to try it for sure

I have found that even though I like having the bigger capacity tank ET, the downfall is once you get down to about 1/3 full they start to leak. This then requires taking the base off and drying the liquid around the base and out of the silicone ring, filling and then blowing out excess liquid through the air tube. This IMO eliminates the purpose of having a bigger tank. I mean what is the point of having 3ml capacity if you have to fill it after using 2ml. I find I don't have this issue with the Mini Nova as much as the ET. This is also the reason I would love SI to release a version of the iClear 30 or 30S 3ml top feeder. Running the tank low won't be an issue since there is no vacuum effect in play. Besides that the 30s has got rave reviews on flavor and vapor.

I have never been a fan of top coil personally. I know people prefer and I am not trying to hate but I didn't personally see that big of a difference in flavor or vapor production and the top coils I did have were a pain to clean and you couldn't turn them upside down (although I do not know if that is the case with the iClear)

I don't much care for the aesthetics of the larger tanks either. It looks like a lollipop when you have a larger tank than your battery

To me, that is part of the fun in the journey.........trying new things and seeing what works best for you. I am currently waiting for a Provari in the mail and I got some adapters while purchasing for fun. I am hoping it will make my larger tanks look better.

call me crazy, my OCD won't allow things to look out of place.
