I had posted a while ago that I had not been overly successful converting people. I am happy to report that 3 have. One I barely know....saw me at work in the "smoking" section a few times. Turns out she's a month into it. Another friend of mine has hit a few months, and as of xmas day my brother, a smoker for 20 years. He's well over a week now. He has a couple of friends at work quite interested. Likely given the crazy cold temperatures and not having to go outside :)

For some reason I think this coming year is going to be big for the industry in general!!

Best way i think is with a 510 or 808d1 auto model, i've tried with a manual ego a few times with some ppl, worked well on some and didnt go to well with others. They keep pressing the button, releasing it and then taking a drag and choking on it lol... Now i just keep a auto 510 or 808d1 with alcohol swaps on hand whenever someone wants to try it, works much better this way. Plus you have to tell them to drag it like a cigar and then inhale. I find that if ppl try to inhale it like a cig they choke pretty hard on it.

This happened to me and my friend the other day, she left her cigs at home because she's trying to quit, after about 3 hours she finally asked me for a puff and choked her head off coughing
*facepalm*

Heh ya that happens to everyone with a e-cig at first I think, generally for ppl who new to vaping live close to me I ask them to come over so I can properly demonstrate and show the proper way to use it now, plus it was probably a bad ideal on my part to start them off with a dual coil LR carto lol... I'm moving down to a more standard auto model for ppl wanting to try now. Works better this way as there not that much to mess up =), all u go to tell them is smoke it like a cigar and inhale after.

My best friend had switched to vaping before me, but had fallen off the wagon, so to speak. As soon as I picked up vaping, she went back to it, too. (And is going to be my partner in crime when I start to DIY, she already caught the DIY bug and makes a mean Waffle juice.)

I've had a few friends ask to try it, and my husband is about 90 % pv, 10% analog (or less) at this point. Which is good, because the smell of smoke is starting to really bug me. :p

My 80 year old Mother in Law was visiting for the Christmas Holidays and she is now a vaper 90% of the time. She does not listen to most of what I say, but, on this she did! Obviously she smoked forever a pack a day and now is down to 3-5 analogs a day.
She does not have a computer and asked if I would mind ordering stuff for her, which of coarse I said I don't mind. Sent her home with a Ego T and charger and her first receipt of e-cig. stuff to be delivered to her home soon I hope.

Haha, good job! Who says you can't teach an old dog a new trick?!
