So I use an Aspire BDC on occasion and with a few different juices have noticed that over the course of the tank the coil seems to "cook" the juice. It seriously thickens up and what was a nice clear juice turns thick and dark and on some occasions clogs the coil head entirely. This has only happened with a couple different juices and I only vape 30pg 70vg juices. Anybody else run into this with bottom coil clearo's?

Hi Festizious.. in a word yes. It happens on pretty much any ce style device. I use a thinned vg mix100% and noticed back when the vivi novas first came out that it caused the liquid to thicken and darken... i have noticed it in most any other device that uses a wick and coil too. Its not just the bottom coils..... Good Luck. Happy Vaping.

Hi, Festizious,

Yes, that is actually fairly common. For me, it only happens with certain juices, but it is very dramatic. The juice turns dark and thick, and usually either loses it's taste, or just tastes bad. I have a couple different liquids (mostly creams) that I can only vape the first half of, then I need to dump the rest out, clean the head, and start over. All I can think is that the wicking/heating pulls all the good stuff out first, and then you're left with the drek.
