Thanks for sharing that. I found it really interesting that the author has been vaping for two years and yet writes: The ecig gear I buy is basic: an eGo battery... and a cheap clearomizer."

He's certainly a better (or cheaper) man than me! It only took me a month before I ended up (as he put it) "sucking on what look to the untrained eye like fancy metal dildos from the future."

I particularly like two quotes from this article:

1. "Based on my own experience and more than a hundred other vapers’ stories I heard, if you give vaping an honest try, there’s a good chance you’ll never smoke another “analog” cigarette ever again."

2. "We could sift through the full gamut of studies here, but the end result would be the same: the sheer inconclusiveness of most e-cig health studies renders them dissatisfying. So we’re left with millions of people who are using e-cigarettes to quit smoking. And that might be a great thing – or it might cause brain cancer. We just don’t know. Vapers view the choice in simple terms: Keep smoking or try something new."

very nice article, loved it ! while most of their vaping gear in the photos are cool, they are way too big to be used on a daily basis, don't even fit in a pocket, can't go around walking and stealth vaping with it, not very practical !

Ha yeah, Phallic ecigs anyone? A Twist for instance may not be as complex or cool or intense, but it sure is practical. I admire from a distance, but agree, wouldn't go that far due to size.

Although I have a number of mods, I never use them when out and about as they are too big and heavy.
I always carry 2 or 3 eGos. They are inexpensive and not too much bigger then a good pen.
I'm not exactly looking for a stealth vape. Just using the right tool for the right situation. After all, I don't use my large 17" laptop when my small tablet will do.
