Tonight my girlfriends coworker/ friend of ours sent home with her his innokin coolfire 2 for me to see if I could fix.
I have yet to talk to him about what he did, but it appears that he unscrewed the top ego threading cover and the ring that holds the wattage adjustment ring came off as well, resulting in "what looks to me" some pins falling out? It doesn't fire an atty, i've tested it with meter and it will produce 6v but what I think is happening is when atty is screwed on it is not set to any wattage level an there for won't fire.
My main question is has anyone removed the adjusting watt ring and know if there are pins or something that slide into the little holes of top cap? The ring has 4 little magnets in it and I think this is what it uses to select certain wattages. But what are they suppose to be pushing or pulling? Any help would be greatly appreciated so I can help get this guy up and vaping again.
