I have a copper doge on my Corsair mod. Seems like you can taste the copper, and after a few days I have to clean the hell out of this rda because it tastes bad and there's a lot of green residue from the copper oxidizing. Should I be worried about inhaling the copper residue? Definitely makes me wish I would have chosen a different metal doge... I'm happy with the vapor, and the flavor isn't too bad, but should I be worried about this green gunk?

no need to worry.... its just copper oxide. ( copper rust) and before everyone starts going crazy on the copper oxide being totally dangerous...... think about where your water comes from and what it is sitting in ( copper pipes)

either way dangerous or not, if its giving it a funky taste i wouldnt continue to keep using it

and yeah there are some real cheap good rdas, i picked up a S.O.D 5k, and a stillare clone for 10 bucks a piece a few weeks ago. vape on those two daily.

Its not that the oxide is toxic itself.

It has been proposed (by others much more knowledgeable than me on such things) that when heated, this oxide produces toxic fumes. If you are truly concerned, i would stop using this device. This is the reason that copper and brass tobh barrels are not one solid piece of brass or copper, rather they are fitted over a stainless steel sleeve so no brass or copper is exposed in the atomizing chamber.

Also, hate him all you'd like, but this is the reason rip trippers does not use atomizers with brass or copper posts.
