take everything completely apart, top cap & pins, bottom switch housing & spring and clean with "Nevr-Dull", then go over the tube threads and the outside of tube with the same.....then go back over everything with an ISO soaked rag & toothbrush on all the threads........double check & make sure contacts are clean if anything is seen then hit them with a pencil eraser, then go over the contact area's of the battery with the eraser....re-assemble and vape...works for me.

were practically neighbors!

I use Blue Magic metal polish cream, as per directed. Typically applied with a polishing diaper and removed black leftover with blue shop paper towels (or anything else; just what I use). For threads I dampen the end of a q-tip with isopropyl alcohol (is that what you guys were calling ISO or is ISO some sort of cleaning agent  ) and rub them good and make sure to remove any buildup or crud left from polishing.

Though recently bought a dremel for quicker work as I own several copper mods. It's a bit messier for the surrounding area (and I may have ruined a decent shirt ) I found in my first run around, so will probably be polishing mods either in garage or on front porch from now on.

Needless to say, I have been meaning to try ketchup as a polishing agent but what I have been using (the Blue Magic) has worked great for me so far so why change?

no Noalox here, my Stainless Mec's i usually just clean & dry but sometimes they get a dab of Mineral Oil if they are real squeaky (threads only)...... my Brass & Copper ones either get a dab of Vaseline or Mineral oil on the threads it seems to help keep them clean and conductive.....also easier to clean the next time. jmo

Nevr-Dull user here. Very handy. Much cleaner than a traditional polish. But its still messy when polishing. If you want the best shine you will need to use a traditional style polish. You don't want to use Braseo, the grit in it will scratch. I love the results I get with Wenol, the blue auto formula. Its a European product, available through Amazon among other places. They make a stronger version, wenol red. Both work better than Braseo with less damage. Both leave a protective finish. No-ox-id on the threads. Renaissance Wax on the assembled mod. I can easily go a couple of weeks without any tarnishing from handling where without I'd see discoloration within two days of my fingers touching it. Copper fares better to my touch but I've been cleaning my copper mods the same way with just as nice results.
