I'm looking into purchasing my first copper mod (most likely a clone) and I want to get one with 20x1 threading so I can easily find a hybrid adaptor for it. I was all set to buy a XXIX clone but I'm having second thoughts. I don't want to be limited to hybrid only, as the possibility of getting juice down inside the tube is a drawback for me. Also, as beautiful as the XXIX is, it seems quite fiddly and I don't think it would be a good first copper mech. I'm looking into a Paragon clone, as I believe the original is 20x1, so a 1:1 clone should be as well. I really like the Vapetech pegasus, but I can't find out what threading it uses. I know Fusion Mods sells hybrid adaptors with different threading options, so if there is one that fits the Pegasus and one of you guys knows about it, I would very much appreciate the information. And if there are any other full copper or close to full copper mods out there that can fit readily available hybrid adaptors, I would love to hear about those, too. Thanks for reading and trying to help, guys! I really love this forum; it's a great community and it's wonderful having so many kind, knowledgable people in one place that are down to help each other through the bumps in our vaping journeys. Peace out!

BTW, I want my mod to be 22mm in diameter. That non-flush look really bugs me. Also, I don't want a modular design. The two mechs I have already are both modular and I really want a full 18650 tube on this one for the increased conductivity and that sleek, unbroken look. Extra tubes are not a selling point for me, as I really only use 18650 batteries, but I wouldn't mind having 490/500 and/or 350 tubes included,,,I suppose I could use them for forced patina projects and the occasional stealth vape.

hm ok, looks like the paragon and the vanilla are both on that list. i can only guess as to the accuracy of that list and the reliability of a clone, but this has helped me narrow my list down a little bit. i may just cross off the pegasus from my list, as I'm on the fence about the button, anyway. i would prefer a recessed button. does anyone have any thoughts on the paragon vs the vanilla? which hits harder?

hmmmm i was just thinking and there aren't a lot of mod that would still be able to adjust for battery rattle with a hybrid cap on them. i wonder how the batteries would fit. looks like i may need to either get a nemesis, get an xxix or go for a mod the way it is.

I pulled the trigger on an SXK/Infinite XXIX clone. I got it for $27 from SlowTech. I can wait. I don't usually like to order from FT but I got that (1:1 clone) and a 1:1 tobh atty, along with some Chuff style top caps (white delrin, black delrin and SS) for like $40. I just couldn't pass that up!

Oh and I've looked into the Stingray X and I just don't like the way it looks. It looks really gaudy to me. I don't like any Stingray mod, actually, though the first design wasn't too bad. But the X and especially the one with the black tube with that weird almost scorpion design... No. I just can't do it. If you like it, I'm glad you enjoy your mod, but yeah... Plus it's modular and I really wanted to get a tubular one. Otherwise I'd have gone for a 4Nine. I may get one of those later on. I really like how the magnets and the switch work. Seems like it would be an awkward throw, though.
