cotton on a steam turbine?

Just got myself a authentic doc dave titanium steam turbine. at 50 bucks it was a steal. i just wanna know if its possible to use cotton as a wick on this or any genny type atomizer, and if so could you tell me your method? any help would be appreciated. thankyou

I've used cotton, but prefer Rayon.
I mount microcoils first, wraps touching each other for a stronger coil to resist distortion.
Twist the wick end to a small diameter and feed from the top of the coil into the tank. I use pointed ceramic tweezers to assist if necessary. Then pull down from the bottom when enough is sticking out.
If you make them long and coil in the tank, you can pull them up & clip them periodically. It's like getting a fresh wick.
This is my go to build for a Genesis tanks and it rocks.
