Hey, I just got my Russian 91 and don't really want to wait for vapemail to start building. I have two questions. I've read that Peaches and Cream cotton yarn was good for wicks or organic cotton. What's the deal about washing rinsing the cotton? Rip says he does it and Phil B says he doesn't. I just don't get if it's necessary or not. TIA

I really can't speak for the Peaches and Cream yarn. I've never used it myself, but I hear good things. I just always use organic cotton balls I pick up at CVS. I've been using cotton for sometime now and I have never boiled it. It's just personal prefrence. Certainly not necessary. I like what PBusardo says, "I never boiled a ciggrette before I smoked it." Good choice on the Russian 91% I have one myself. I love it. Good luck and happy vapeing!

Try sterile rolled cotton. It is made to clean/bandage open wounds, so it is sterilized with heat. Most cottons balls(including organic) are bleached with hydrogen peroxide. I don't want to inhale that personally. I HAD to boil the organic cotton balls(CVS) I used or I got a funky taste/weird feeling in my throat. I don't boil the rolled cotton and I have not had that issue at all.

I use Peaches and Cream Yarn. I boil it for about 30 min. and put it in a colander. I wait till it cools down then wring it out. I place the colander on the heat floor vent and it dries quite fast....I only do a few feet of strands at a time.

I use it for my Protanks, Aspire BDC's and Aspire nautilus. The yarn completely takes the guess work out of how much cotton to use. I just thread it thru the coil and it's the perfect amount needed.

I pat it down and try to get as much juice out as I can that throw it in the micro wave for a little. just 15 -20second burst until its dry.
