I'm trying to upgrade with a new hardware but till now my experience is not satisfying.
I tried many new device and all have something in common organic cotton.
They work pretty well never get a dry hit but irritate a bit my throat i feel a bit harsh kind of vape comparing with silica hardware i tried.
I can't understand if the problem is cotton work so good delivering to much nicotine (but i don't have the synthom of nicotine overdose and also i don't get
strong hit justify more nicotine amount) or to me cotton coil irritate my throat and silica does not...

Would like to know if i'm the onlyone encountering this problem with organic cotton or if some of you found a similar problem and prefer silica over cotton?

Do you know if there are good hardware still using silica and not cheap crappy plastic olds device?

Find out the problem what a HELL i diluited the full tank with ALMOST 0 NICOTINE and the problem disappeared so the VERY IRRITATING SENSATION was due the nicotine and not the cotton.
Now i can do deep hit without any problem and is very strange cause i vape at 3.4 volt and 1.6 ohms this means this hardware even at this really low wattage is just strong as sub ohm device.
Is just crazy is not possible to find not performing hardware out of there...
I would like to find the hardware consume less liquid between all the harware available so even if i do long puff i will not get to much nicotine and will not end the liquid too soon...

1 of two things have happened.

1./you scorched the wick by turning the power tools high.

2. Yoy are getting a throat hit from the PG.

You can always try Rayon for the wick.

No i find out cotton wasn't the problem the irritation were given JUST FROM NICOTINE once i lowered the nicotine i had no problems at all.

Before sounds strange to me but now i understood that despite the low wattage this new hardwares produce much more vapor it was used for so deliver more nicotine the only solution would be to reduce at least half of the nicotine in the liquid or find a less performance hardware use less liquid

I have a friend that was vaping 12 mg nicotine. He went to another Atty and started using Sub Ohm and in less than a week he had to move from 12 mg to 6 mg just because tge sub Ohm coils vaporized more nicotine.
