If you use 32g and wrap a standard coil, 5-6 wraps will get you 1.5-1.7Ω on a 1/16" drill bit. With 30g, you'll need a few more wraps to stay in the same area.
IMO, 28g is more suited for lower Ω builds (i.e. sub-ohm) due to the thickness of the wire. It can be used on higher ohm builds, but it's going to take longer to heat up since the resistance is much higher, unless you crank up the wattage/voltage.
