I use cotton exclusively as my wicking and I want to know how you guys wick your cotton. When I started building coils I rolled the whole strand of cotton pretty tightly to pull it through the wick. Last night I tried just rolling the tip of the cotton and left the rest of the strand the way it was.

Here's how I would describe the difference:
Cotton rolled tightly: Holds a decent amount of juice, flavor is very rich
Cotton left fluffy: Holds a lot of juice, flavor almost non-existent

Do you guys roll your cotton tightly or just the tip?

Personally I think it depends on the wattage. If I am doing wattages above 20, I roll and twist my cotton. If I'm using a vv devices at 15 watts or lower, I don't twist as much. I do believe higher wattages should be twisted for the wick to hold up and not degrade.
