Cotton wicks uk supplier

So I have recently got into builds and getting guidance on utube. Using cotton seems to be very popular and easy to use. Is this material specific to vaping or is it just a bag of cotton wool??? We're can I get some in the uk???

It's just general use cotton.

Opinions differ as to what you should use.

Organic stuff will still often contain some residue of pesticide or bleaching agents, so I'd personally recommend repeatedly boiling any you buy, no matter where you get it. Others disagree.

I think cotton pleats are probably easiest to use. Definitely don't get pads, they're a hassle and you waste a huge amount. Cotton twine is said to work too, though I've never tried it.

I've been using this cotton from CVS Pharmacy CVS Rolled Cotton - CVS pharmacy. Hopefully you should be able to find something similar.

I've also been rebuilding my atomizers exclusively with this cotton for the past year and a half and still have plenty of cotton left from the one box that I bought. Since it is labeled and Sterile and USP, I have not bothered to boil it.

Just about any pharmacy should have sterile rolled cotton or something similar. Real cheap, basically just a roll of cotton that you can pull apart and twist into a wick. Not sure what you have in the UK, but I got mine from CVS.

A bag of cotton balls will work perfectly well. Make sure it's 100% cotton and that it's not treated with bleach. Cotton balls can be pretty inconsistent though. You can pick up sterile cotton at most pharmacy type stores which has a much more consistent thickness.

Do you have a wally world near you or ASDA? 500 in the UK and 30 super stores. I didn't realize you had them.

Check for Peaches and Cream yarn. I think it is the ECRU you want.

I boil mine.

Easiest, best place to find 100% organic cotton in the UK I would think - Holland & Barrett

i use organic cotton balls that i boiled. works well for me.
