I am using cotton bacon, and I was wondering if anyone knew how long it would take for the cotton taste to go away when I vape? It doesent taste burnt i just taste cotton

For me I only taste it for a few puffs and then the taste goes away. If you taste it longer than that, you may have rolled it too tight before threading it through your coil.

In my experiences, if you roll it too tight the cotton taste does not go away. I roll my cotton bacon VERY lightly, and then only twist the end to get it started going through the coil. I do not twist the main part of it at all.

I hope that helps.

what does cotton taste like?

<Edit> My sarcasm below was not obvious! ;)
No one should follow the instructions below. Their only purpose was to instruct someone to improperly roll their cotton so that they see what cotton tastes like because they were curious.
Again... Do not follow the instructions below unless you want to taste cotton :pervy:</Edit>

I do not know how to explain it. Get some cotton, roll and twist it 3 or 4 times as tight as you normally do, and wick your Atty with it. You will see what we mean when you vape it.

Ive alwyas used japenese cotton and I never had a problem, I bet I'm rolling it to tight like you said. Plus I got to remember that once it's saturated its going ti expand up making it even tighter. What do you build on? A dripper or a tank?

I build for tanks and drippers. I prep and thread my cotton in a similar way to the guy on this video. Very, very light rolling and no twisting except for the very end.

The cotton bacon part of the video starts around 19min.

Don't roll the cotton! Take it apart from the pad and only roll the ends (that you will cut later) to get it through the coil. Make it as fluffy as you can. It will wick like a dream.
