Cough cough

I have had one analog since Jan 1st, and it was more than 2 weeks ago. The last two days my chest has been really tight and I've had a really dry, almost asthmatic cough. It is much more noticeable at night, during the day I vape away on my Reo Grand no problem. At night though, especially after lying down for an hour or so, the cough comes back hard. Very dry, raspy, almost burning cough like an asthmatic cough. I do have exercise-induced asthma, but I have not been exercising (not much anyway).

Thoughts? I'm vaping BWB 50/50 or 20/80 12 or 18 mg. I go thru about 2 mL/day.

Thanks for the help.

I agree, probably a cold coming on. There will be a lot of changes in your lungs and sinuses in the coming months. I stopped smoking about three months ago, and was heading directly into the winter months. Currently, my sinuses have been draining down the back of my throat for about two or three weeks, and has been irritating the crap out of my throat. Not to mention all the new cilia that is growing back in my throat being more sensitive. :)

I've been getting a "heavy" feeling in my lungs for months. Often when drifting off to sleep I breathe out, but don't breathe back in until I jump up gasping. I've been using VG a lot more lately and I'm beginning to wonder if it's a culprit. I have already backed flavorings off to 5% or so, which helped for a few weeks, but now I'm doing it again. I'm not sure yet, I've got to get some 100% PG nicotine liquid to do some more testing.

Not to be negative on juice but I had to switch to pg only..all vg or part vg made me wheeze pretty bad..everybodys different

Did this happen over time? Or was it the first time you vaped VG? I quit analogs about a year ago with the help of vaping, and was smoking almost exclusively PG and had no issues at all. This time around, I have been both PG and VG, recently heavier percentages VG. This asthma came on rather suddenly, although I noticed at night I was unable to draw on my Grand without coughing pretty hard upon exhaling the vapor. After two days of some cough-filled nights, this asthma thing comes on.

I am on an inhaler, z-pack, and coughing meds (no codeine for the recovering addict) for the next week or so, so well see if I get better. Today I vaped a little less than usual, even with a tight chest, and I had times of feeling ok, and times (like right now) where I feel like absolute crap. Im gonna try to not vape tomorrow at all and see how I feel at the end of the day.
