I have been analog free for three months now. At first I had a very flemy cough but now a days I have a very dry cough. At some points I my day I do vape a lot and try to drink a lot of water and juices. I do like to inhale my vape...is that why I cough so much?
The last few days I've tried turning down the voltage of my battery which seems smoother but I'm still coughing. Did this happen to any of you? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

When I was still transitioning, I was coughing up more clear stuff than blackish stuff, but I haven't had any problems since then. If I don't drink enough water, the boog's in my nose get kinda bad, but that's it. I'm really bad at distinguishing the point of drinking water over soda when I go to get something to drink too..

What ratio and flavored liquids do you use? Since it's a dry cough, I'm ASSUMING it would be PG or flavors.

I guess I'm lucky. A lot of my friends who quit smoking coughed up black stuff a lot. I smoked 2+ packs a day for over 10 years. 2 months ago I quit smoking in favor of vaping and haven't coughed up! I asked my doctor and he said the lack of coughing is actually a good thing and means that my lungs regenerated very well while I was smoking thus not allowing a large amount of build up in my lungs. But the guys/girls are right. I've heard the coughing up can be mostly attributed to sensitivity to PG. Try using flavors that are mostly if not ALL VG.

After a long time away from analogs, i too still have a dry coughing fit every morning and night. Sometimes with clear sputum from the allergy season with pines growing in my yard. Most likely to the irritant nature of PG in your liquids. If it becomes an issue, try 100% VG juice and it may help. Also give your body a chance to heal from analogs. It may be also your body ridding itself from analog chemicals etc. it gets better in time, trust me.

Cough can come from many things.
High PG might cause scratchy throat
High VG could cause heavy lung feeling and cough reflex.
Possible sensitivity to any one of the ingredients in your Mix - Pg, Vg, Nic(yep), specific Flavoring
Could be High Nic level causing irritation.

Could also be nothing to do with vaping, but amplified while Vaping.
Sinus is a good one for coughing. Sinus drainage can go right to the lungs.

I'm on to mostly 50/50 mixes now. For me it is a decent balance between scratchy and heavy. Still, when the sinus act up it really interferes with enjoying my Vape.
