Could there be a connection?

Hey all, I recently went from using an elites e60 to a Titan 510, which I drip.

I was a 20 a day smoker before switching to vaping.

The problem is, I started using the 510 last night for the first time and ever since I have had a sore throat, mild headaches and intense diarrhoea with stomach cramps!

Could there be a connection here? Or have I just happened to get sick for another reason?

Anyone else had problems like these with their pv?

Make sure you are drinking lots of water and if the head ache persists, I would try cutting down on the nic strength, you can pick up some unflavored vg juice in walmart near the rubbing alcohol is called Humco glycerin, you can mix it with your juice to cut down the nic level but don't add too much or you will lose the flavor too.

It does feel like a normal bout of illness, stuffy, sore throat, fatigued, etc.

It's just that I don't often get diarrhoea and stomach cramps when I'm sick, but just when something upsets my stomach (I have IBS), I think I will switch back for a couple days and see what happens.

And to the person above, what is pv/vg? Are you asking what strength the fluid is? It's 16mg

Did you take your temperature? Do you have a fever? Could be food, could be vaping, could be illness/disease with our without fever. Hard for us to tell.

--- Vaping info ---
Headaches are common for new vapors when they over-do it and get too much nic. Nic can also upset your digestive system, esp. if you are swallowing any juice (like when the PV isn't vaping properly) and vaping can be harsh on the throat. One of the reasons I vape is that the lozenges, gum upset my system more than vaping. But that assumes my PV setup is working well.

What setup are you using? If you think it is the PV, is the Titan 510 using a LR atty (shouldn't be... but I'm asking anyway)? Try a normal atty. Also clean the atty. Switch juice. Cut nic.

How long ago did you quit analogs? A sore throat, headaches and even cold symptoms can all be your body's response to quitting analogs. If you've been vaping for more than a few weeks and this just started, sounds like you just caught a bug coincidentally at the time you switched to the other PV. (Especially if your still using the same juice and nic level )

Nah there's no fever, just the sore throat and other unpleasant symptoms. I'm using the battery that came with the pv from Totally Wicked. I'm not sure what type it is, I'm going to try switching to a lower nic dose and see if that makes any difference, mind you I could just happen to coincidentally get better as soon as I switch if it was all just a coincidence in the first place lol only time will tell I guess!

I've had ........ some in the last six weeks (without cramps), but I attribute that to quitting smoking and my body getting rid of the 42-year buildup of tar and 4000 other toxins.

A sore throat could be from too high of a nicotine level or vaping way too often. I've found when the heat from the vapor hits certain spots in my mouth constantly, that spot will be sore for a while until I take more breaks from vaping.

I haven't had any headaches so can't comment on that.

My lower back went out yesterday and I can't stand up straight or walk very good, but this is not due to vaping or quitting smoking!
