i've been vaping for a little over a year now, used to get all my gear from smokeless image but have recently found cheaper suppliers and along the way i found out about the T3s tanks/heads (they have the cheap replaceable wick/element parts).......

well to cut a long story short, the T3s heads use ego threading, but my current SI batteries use 808 threading, so i'm wanting to switch over to an ego battery and need some advice on where to start, there's way too many options out there for me to even get started

i'm open to changing up my gear, however it is a must that i have kind of big tanks (around 2.4ml or so) and the heads/wicks/elements have to be cheap to replace/easy to rewick etc and the battery has to be a long lasting durable battery (mine get banged around a bit during day-to-day) and preferably can be used as a passthrough

The MVP is a beast. I highly recommend it. I'd say you would have a difficult task trying to kill its battery in a single day. Also, if you don't want to change your device there should certainly be a screw on adapter to accommodate ego threading and they're usually only a few bucks.

I currently have a 510 to ego adapter on one of my mods right now, it works great.

that mvp looks kinda expensive, is it an automatic draw? or a manual? (when you puff on it, does it heat the element automatically or do you need to push a button?) and i do have an adapter for the new heads, it's just that the battery is getting close to the end of it's life and i kinda wanna switch over to ego so i don't need to use the adapter

Suggest 900mAh eGo-c passthrough. Shorter than the 1000, so a bit less 'in the way' and yet only an hour less - Should get you through an 8 hour shift (ymmv)... best short and charge protection and the Joyes are better built than the knockoffs/clones.

Joye eGo-C Upgrade Passthrough 900mAh

Tabac BCC/T3/T3S work well on it.

Expensive? You can pick one up for around 50 bucks these days (which is kind of unbelievable considering what you get). It is a manual draw. Have you been using autos the whole time? If so you will be blown away by the MVP.

my bad, i could only find the mvp on a few sites and they were in the 55-65 dollar range, i'm still looking deeper to see where i can get it cheaper in usa, and i started on autos, but switched to manuals after about a month and never looked back, lol

i'm wanting to get a battery with a longer span, i'm currently using a 1300mah battery and it lasts me 2-3 days so i wanna try to stay around that range in the mah area

I'd suggest getting a 510/808 and a 808/510 adapter and use all your batteries and toppers interchangeably. Don't relegate a perfectly good battery to the vape stash bin simply because of threading....:)

the battery i wanna replace i think is going bad, it gets super hot when i go on a small puffing binge and makes the head super hot, and it hasn't been lasting as long between charges as my other one has (i'm kinda thinking it's been shorting out or something)

I got a few 1300mAh eGo's the other day, just because they were STUPID inexpensive, and I wanted something tangible in my hand that I could troubleshoot and see if I could replicate all these "my eGo is doing *insert flashy problem here*...full charge on em...18 hours later...had to go to bed and weren't drained...the MVP is 2x that at least...you would be nic ODing if you tried to drain that battery! Heck on an Efest 2000mAh battery in my Vamo I get 2x days out of it before Low V and I HAMMER it like it's going out of style (coincidentally I have a MVP coming in..so it just might be :D)

Get the MVP2. You can use it as a pass through also. It is reliable, sturdy, and has a 2600mah battery in it that will last you well over one day. I have one and love it. My backups (which is what I started with) are a couple of 1300mah spinners. Pick up a couple of ego to 510 adapters for the MVP2 and you are set to go. I believe there are also adapters for the k808 type threads also but not sure since I never had one of those batteries.

101vapes has had the MVP2 for $40 for the past week. They may be out of stock but you can sign up to be notified when they are back in stock.
