Hello.

I like the idea of making my own juice. This is all new to me, read the stickies and hoping someone could look over my math real quick. I would like to get started so I'm going simple first. This is what I got so far. Please let me know if this looks right.

Target goal: 30ml - 70pg/30vg - 6 nicotine strength

5ml
- unflavored nicotine (100% pg)
10ml - pg
9ml - vg
6 ml - 1 flavor (20%)

Just want to make sure I understand the online calculator I'm using. Obviously I just picked 1 flavor to make it easy. Once I start understanding it a bit more, I would love to get more creative with it.

If someone wouldn't mind looking over this real quick and telling me if this looks right for what I'm shooting for.

Thank you.

Appreciate it. Thanks a bunch.

Your quite welcome and good luck. Please read my recommended reading first. It will save you much time and fustration. It will explain what to buy, how to mix your first basic juice, Will explain how to mix test batches using small amounts so your not wasting supplies, How to steep, How to measure, what to expect along the way etc.......

Sounds like you have a good approach: start slow and keep it simple until you have a few successes under your belt. And I agree with the others about starting with less flavoring and working your way up to find the sweet spot for you. Some things are OK at 20% (which I would consider a max for almost any single flavors), but some would be absolutely disgustingly strong at 10%. Do try to find some kind of recommendation about the range of %'s for each flavor, many vendors provide them, and some are easily found searching for the flavor name here (include the brand, because one vendor's vanilla might be a completely different animal than another's. You can also look for advice by posting questions here, and it may help to include the name(s) of the flavoring (including brands) in the title of your thread.

If you have any doubts at all about the output of the calculator applications and whether you are using them correctly, do no hesitate to post it for feedback, as you did here.

You really don't want to make 30ml and have to dump it, because it's to costly.
Make 5-10ml for samples to try until you get the recipe spot-on...
