Ello, mates!

So if any of you have tried Mr.Good vape or Poet's sweet black tea flavor, you'll know what I'm talking about here. On the inhale of all these flavors, you can feel the sugar in the back of your throat. I've used VG sweetener at the shop, but that doesn't quite do it for me. Doesn't give the same effect.

Would you be able to soak small amounts of sugar into straight PG to get that sugary feel in your throat? What about tea leaves, let them soak in PG to extract the flavor, mix that with VG and nicotine? What other types of sweeteners will give that feeling?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Here's a thread that talks about coffee flavor extraction. I think it also has some ideas about Cinnamon, Tea, and perhaps cocoa extraction as well:

Now sugar on the other hand isn't an extraction, you would be dissolving it. I'm not entirely sure it would even be safe to vape sugar but I do know it will gunk up your coils and or wicks in no time flat. It has a low melting point and will caramelize on your coils. I have ever seen anyone say using sugar is a good idea.

Cheers,

Sweetener. Many DIY flavoring vendors sell it.

It tastes like sugar to most folks, but since it sweetens more with less, it means there are fewer carbon atoms to gunk the coil. (Sugar and sweetener both have quite a number of carbon atoms in each molecule, so if you can use much less and get more sweetening, then your coils gunk up much less.)

There are other things to try, but best to start simple and work from there than start with a discombobulated complexity and attempt to unravel it from there.

Not sure if this will give you the feeling you are looking for but I recently got my first Ethyl Malto and added it to some juices I had made up. I use Sucrolose as a sweetener and the addition of just a few drops made the sucrolose come alive. I had to go back and dilute my juices down to get rid of the new found sweetening power EM has brought to the table.
