My father and step-mother bought their first e-cigs yesterday, the RN4081. I had heard terrible things about Smoking Everywhere, so I had advised him against buying from them... but, well, he did it anyway. What he told me was a huge surprise. Apparently he hasn't smoked any analogs, the battery he had lasted all day yesterday since he got it and popped it into the unit, and the cartridge lasted up until noon today as well. Mind you, he was a 2 pack a day smoker for 35 years, so I assume he vapes quite a lot for the past day and a half too.

Now, he has the 1 year warranty on battery/atomizer, but I was wondering what websites were available that may have other accessories for this model and cheaper batteries and attys for him to have back ups? He has already told me he will take my advice and buy liquid to refill cart's instead of buying high priced prefilled. He also told me he realized he could have gotten better cheaper models. However, he seems happy with this one and what he paid for it. Is this really as unusual as I find it to be?

Smoking everywhere will be your biggest mistake. Not only do they rip you off but the material and the manufacture of their cigs is crappy. My first purcahse... Oh how I remember my first purcahse... The painting on my e-cig chipped off, the cartiges sucked and made me wheezed, and the worst part of all the "mini" ecigs of theirs lasted no more than 10 minutes of chain vaping or as soon as the charging was done. And the damn atomizers of theirs rusted... Absolute garbage.

I use Elite (a mall brand) but I wanted another but because their kits were so expensive, I decided to explore a bit more. The juice (e-juice) will save you bundles of cash against the use of cartiges.

To answer your question on getting cheaper cigs:

As a RN4081 user the best stuff I gotten were from cigvapor.net (coupon: "Taketen" or "TAKETEN" will give you % off purcahse and you're welcome ). Anything not working, they will take it back and or replace it asap + fast shipping.

Second, is the directory I just got recently among the e-cig forums here aquavaporcig.com. Not only their design is sexy for the rn4081 & DSE901 but a decent long amount of battery life as well. I even taken the liberty from ordering a black matt (no gloss shine) to their black design that resembles closely like the Assassin's creed symbol. And oh yes, their coupon code is mydiscount and you can save a lot too. :D

However, Aquavaporcigs is a bit cheaper than cigvapor.net so I would recomend that instead. cigvapor.net is good for buying blank cartiges. cigvapor.net is free shipping while aquavapor isn't unless you use their coupon you save a bit more than cigvapor :D

Just remember two things: If you're buying something expensive, look for "mod" e-cigs such as the GG, The Chuck, or whatever mod fixed up to take a beating. However, the other thing you must remember is you can always go cheap and it's not a bad thing as long as you take care of it and keep it clean (mostly the atomizers and not over driping it). If you're the type that might lose stuff by accident, well a replacement battery and atomizer is no more than $18.00 bucks.

There's really no difference unless it's how it's built and how you take care of your things. I always thought buying something strong and sleek, but then again if I lose it it's like losing a cell phone.

The amount someone smokes often has little to do with how much they vape, or what nicotine level they prefer in their juice. That's one of the reasons that it's so hard to give good advice to potential vapers in less than 500 words.

In it's unmodified form, that type of PV is only suitable for very light vapers (in my opinion) because the cart can only hold a tiny amount of liquid and the battery life is dismal. Any complaints about the gear itself likely come from medium to heavy vapers (like me). It's the company and it's business practices that people warn about, mostly. From what I understand, your parents are now signed up for monthly deliveries of grossly overpriced pre-filled cartridges (probably without their knowledge). The charges will continue monthly until they cancel.

Shipping back defective parts can be frustrating and not very cost-effective. Often it costs half as much to send items back as the item is worth. Don't expect great customer service and speedy turn-around times, either.

In my limited experience it is not the norm, but far from unheard of. The 4081 is a great little atty, and many (but not most) people prefer them. The Copper and The Mini-Copper are "big battery mods" that can be ordered with 4081 connectors, and in fact the builder used to recommend them. He may still, I don't know.

EDIT: Ha! Looks like Icey beat me to the punch. :)
