Thinking about making a switch to ecigs. I've spent the past week reading way more info on this site then I expected but I still have a couple questions.
I'm very likely going to get a 510 but given my situation I wonder if there's a better option for me. I work from home (I will not vape at my computer) and don't get out too much. So portability and size isn't that big a deal to me. I suspect anything I get will spend 90% of it's life plugged into a passthrough on my back patio. I may end up getting a travel device for when I do go out or when I travel for work. If there's a better device for dedicated home use, I'd like to hear suggestions.
About the 510 passthrough: It has a battery. Why such a small one I've no clue.. But I'm guessing that it can be used unplugged. True? Will it operate with the battery removed? It looks like a standard size battery in some pics and not in others. Is it a common and easily replaceable battery?
Juice: How much? I'm currently a once an hour kinda smoker. My routine is based largely on how little work I have, how frustrating my work is, and whenever my wife decides she feels like smoking. She is not currently interested in this vaping thing. So I just want to get an idea of how much juice I should expect to go through.
What'sWhere's the deal? I'd like to order everything I need from one shop and be done with it. I've looked at a handful of suppliers and some have good hardware prices but bad liquid (I will not, ever, call it software) prices or selection. Some have good prices on some of the hardware and horrible price on say the passthrough. Some free shipping, some zomg China!? shipping. Then there's the question of revisions of batteries and atomizers. Some supposedly sell good hardware and some supposedly sell janky hardware. Just thinking about who sells what parts from which factory in China for a reasonable price and.... frustrating... brb smoke.
Looking at the cignot no box starter kit. Seems like a good deal for the most part. $22 for the passthrough is 2x the healthcabin price.
But what gets me is that it comes with 2x 5ml samples of juice. They have either 0mg or 26mg nic options. But they don't let you select two options for if you want to cut a 26mg liquid. Like.. Option 1) PG Marlboro 26mg 5ml. Option 2 basically forces you to go VG. But my preference would be a PG Marlboro 0mg to cut the 26mg down to 13mg. All they have is VG for option 2. There's simply no good combination of their two options, especially if you think 26mg is a little high. I guess they also sell a 80/20 PG/VG 0mg nic for cutting.. But I'm assuming you lose flavor with a cut like that. This is all more then I want to think about.
