This is still happening to me. I sent a ticket, stating the problem and was emailed back that I was enrolled and maybe it was the settings on my email. I replied that I had gotten their email tell me what they thought the problem was, and asked why, if I was getting this email, why am I not receiving sale emails. I never heard anything back.
I wish they would simple put the sale notification on this forum. After all, we're one one's that are using the sale anyway. As long as it's not posted everywhere on the web, and just here, that would solve a lot of problems.
