I have ordered a chuck, and apparently I missed a detail. I now notice it says cr123 works for 6v as is, and the sleeve is for using cr2 batts.

Is there a big difference between the 2 ? I am researching this now, but I know someone here has the knowledge to help me out.

Thanks for your time assisting me with this.
Chuck need two RCR123a 3V batterys (protected).
CR2 is not protected.
I recomend you the first option.

The CR2 is 15270 in size and is 3v/
The CRC123A is 3.0v and is also 16340 in size (bigger)

The Chuck can use either CR2's with a sleeve and some are protected and some are not.

Please use the RCR123A 750 MahTenergy lifePO4 batteries. They are safer and no sleeve is required and they will last longer between charges than the CR2's.

Batteryjunction has them along with the charger.
