Zero dollar version

Scrap 2x2, BBQ skewer, screw, nut and washers. This one is approx 2.7mm(7/64), also made 2 other rods a 2.5mm(3/32) Wire Hanger and 2mm(5/64) bike spoke. If you don't tell the wife she won't notice the parts donations. I have also replaced the scrap 2x2, with a nice fresh REDWOOD one from when I redid my patio.

Funny, it was the worthlessness of the coil master that made me build. My Coil Gizmo clone winder. I make perfect spaced coils and contact coil you don't have to squeeze

The coiling gizmo is a great tool. I have tried quite a few other methods, and find that this continues to work the best for me.

I have one of those and used it until I found the coil mandrel at Amazon. It requires no workbench mount. You just pull it out, wind the coil, and toss it back in the ecig toolbox.

I have one like that, funny thing is, I use it more then all of my other coil making jigs...
