So i think I shorted out my 510 battery tonight. I wanted to check the voltage on it with my new spiffy cheapo multimeter. Then i went to vape on it an no vapor, but the led came on. I also noticed when i unscrewed the atty the led flashed like the cutoff had been reached. I smelled this battery vs my other and i smell magic smoke :( I rechecked the broken battery and it reads 3.6v whether the button is being pressed or not. Chats in chat lead to the button probably be shorted out.

i figure since i'm past 14 days on the DOA warranty and the fact i probably crossed the streams, I'm figuring there might be a way to fix this? so assuming it's the button, is there an easy way to fix it?

*sigh*

Naw, it's fine.. I'm gonna go get some batteries before they're all gone :)

I heard they were canning their hardware business ?
