I bought some of the new 18350 batts. and a roughstack to try out. When i put the battery in and started screwing down the cap the thing started firing. OK, i figured it was a fluke thing and went about my day. Mowed the yard and came inside to find the roughstack was in my pocket and was about 1000 degrees. It had been firing in my pocket. Without the button pressed. So i emailed madvapes and they told me i could send it back to them for a return.
So, today i got to looking at it and though what the heck i'll try and fix it. All you have to do is put a blob of solder on the center connector on the button assembly.
The IMR batts are flat tops and it was shorting out the button i guess. So, 2 fried cartos later and i figured everyone should know how to fix it.

thnaks for the info barbee.. I think what happens sometimes with flat tops is that the solder points for the switch stick out farther than the center contact and will make a complete circuit with flat tops if they do. We try to make the contact for the center pin higher than the switch points but sometimes.. :(

Sorry you had trouble with yours but glad you fixed it:)
